Internationally, unpolished and unschooled art is gaining more and more prominence in museums — art often created by artists working alongside the structures and scenes of the established art world. Now ARKEN shows the artist Kenneth Rasmussen (b.1972). He is a self-taught artist who many Danes know from DR's documentary series 'The Originals'. He lives and works in Randers and is affiliated with Bifrost, an artist workshop for artists with special needs. Kenneth Rasmussen has previously had a solo exhibition at Randers Kunstmuseum (2022) as well as exhibited in numerous museums and exhibition venues in Sweden, France, Australia, New York, Japan and Germany, among others.
