Come on a guided tour of art and Strandparken, where families and children and other lovers of art and nature go exploring together and get in close contact with nature and art around ARKEN. We guarantee that in the three hours we are together, there will be excitement and curiosity, no matter who you are.
The tour starts at 10.00, lasts 3 hours and ends with a wonderful outdoor communal lunch with hot dog de luxe, which we eat at a long table in the green outside ARKEN.
We start at ARKEN's entrance under the rainbow, by the artpiece Where do we go from here, and continue into the countryside with stops at artworks that share a neighbourhood with nature in Ishøj Strandpark. We experience nature and art and each other in new ways when the art host starts fun and creative activities where everyone can participate. The trip requires no prior knowledge. Neither about ants, mare straw, nor art. Then we head out to Ishøj Strandpark, where we sniff, listen and taste nature and pick up wild edible herbs on our way, which we prepare and eat together later.
