LIVE ART FOR CHILDREN concludes with a weekend filled with performances and workshops exploring the ideals and identity of the body. Marsian DeLellis (US) presents her live performance “Real Doll”, in which a famous media puppet gets a cosmetic operation at a miniature operating room. The performance is drop-in and recommended for children from 5 years old and their adults.
In addition, Louise Orwin (UK) is organizing a workshop where children and young people can develop their own social media avatar. The workshop explores how we present ourselves on social media and is perfect for children aged 8 and up.
Program:
“Real Doll” can be experienced as a drop-in from 12:00-15:00 at the head in ARKEN's Foyer outside the workshop.
The workshop “SoMe Avatar” with Louise Orwin can be experienced as a drop-in from 13:00-16:00 in KK.
