In 2025 ARKEN will open the biggest solo exhibition to date with the Danish artist Frederik Næblerød (b. 1988).
Known for his uncompromising art, he challenges our familiar understanding of painting and sculpture with great creative power in a raw, energetic and playful style. His works range from painting, ceramics, bronze and drawing to large installations. Through his work, he has created a special artistic universe that invites us into the grotesque, absurd and humorous.
Frederik Næblerød displays a unique energy and creative power in his art, and he has become nationally known through his participation in various programs on Danish television.

The exhibition at ARKEN will be an intense and sensual encounter with Frederik Næblerød's art, and it will give you the opportunity to get close to his immediate creativity and skewed view of the world.
